Vampires and daywalkers are the topic of the Backstreet Boys new single, "Straight Through My Heart."Directed by Kai Regan and filmed on 7 August 2009 near downtown Los Angeles. The video begins with a written introduction:
A group who band together to protect innocent mortals or Kine against the Gentry. Vampires who hunt for prey at bars and nightclubs. Sometimes these hunters become the hunted.
We follow a woman into a nightclub where the Backstreet Boys are performing. The dancing isn't spectacular; this is more of a theme video.
The video premiered at 10 a.m. on the US Magazine Web site and is the first single from their "This Is Us" album which comes out in October.
