AJ McLean has quit playing games with his girlfriend's heart.

Backstreet Boy's dreamy bad boy (they're really still together!) celebrated his 32nd birthday Friday night with a solo concert in Las Vegas, and an onstage proposal to Rochelle Deanna Karidis, sources confirm to E! News.

McLean "surprised his girlfriend Rochelle in [club] Wasted Space after running to Rocks the Jeweler inside the Hard Rock Hotel, and buying a beautiful diamond ring," the source says. "He ran back to Wasted Space for the strike of midnight, and the change of date to Jan 9—his birthday!"

It may have been spur-of-the-moment, but that doesn't make it any less romantic.

"He brought Rochelle up to the middle of the stage, stops the music and proposed. She said yes and the crowd went crazy," the source gushed.

The newly betrothed duo plan to continue the birthday, and now engagement, celebration tonight at the Hard Rock's club, Vanity.

As for the rest of the Boys, their seventh full length album hit shelves back in October, and a second greatest hits album, Playlist: The Very Best of the Backstreet Boys, is set for a Jan. 26, 2010 release.

Backstreet Boys Show Us the Meaning of Getting Swine Flu

Those pigs just ruin everything! First Bonesand now BSB!

The Backstreet Boys have been forced to put their media blitz for their new album—This Is Us, out tomorrow—on hold as Brian Littrellhas been diagnosed with swine flu.

Needless to say, New York appearances scheduled for today and tomorrow have been canceled in light of the illness.

"We were really looking forward to spending time with our closest fans and friends in NYC," Littrell says in a statement. "I hope we can come back soon and do everything we can to help."

Thankfully, doctors declared Nick Carter,Howie Dorough and A.J. McLean are H1N1-free, but prescribed Tamiflu to the group and their touring party, who had just returned to the U.S. from Tokyo.

While swine flu is no oinking laughing matter, something tells us this diagnosis may provide healthier awareness for their album than that media blitz.
